For over 28 years Lori has worked with all levels of trauma and abuse, and all stages of the recovery process.
EFT founder Gary Craig featured her in his Specialty Series 1 DVD training program. Lori was also one of five EFT experts for his week long intensive with veterans suffering from combat PTSD released as the documentary "Operation Emotional Freedom". Today, she specializes in complex cases of sexual abuse, children of borderlines, and most especially, cult/ritual abuse and torture survivors.
Lori's integration of bio-psychology with compassionate and meditative presence emphasizes supporting one’s core resources as an integral part of healing. For over 50 years she's studied and practiced Eastern and Western spirituality. She was ordained a Daoist priest in 1998 and later recognized as Xian (a Daoist term for “immortal").
Today, Lori works with clients all over the world as a counselor, EFT practitioner, and teacher. She offers multi-day intensive retreats and trainings for trauma and abuse. Lori resides in Southern Oregon with her horse and cat. She also serves as Chair of The Rogue Valley Metaphysical Library Board of Directors and continues to return to her beloved cultural traditions of Hawaii.

Lori Lorenz is a gentle, visionary, and dynamic healer and educator! After working for over 20 years with trauma survivors, I was originally greatly impressed with Lori’s understanding of the healing process; the support, boundary, and empowerment needs of survivors; and the use of the Emotional Freedom Technique. I was thrilled to participate in 3 levels of training for practitioners which introduced her dynamic “Map to Freedom” which I have found clients understand immediately and use on their own journeys. Your work and “being” will thrive and survivors’ journeys will be wonderfully and energetically lightened, yet deepened! I highly recommend this conference to anyone wishing to enhance their own understanding and healing work.
